Filmmaker

Mark Titus

In 2006, Mark Titus founded August Island Pictures in Seattle and learned the craft of storytelling by writing and directing brand films for clients like: The Nature Conservancy, T-Mobile and the United Nations Development Programme. As a filmmaker, Mark Titus has directed and produced short films since 2003. In 2014 Mr. Titus helmed The Breach – an award-winning feature documentary about wild salmon.

In 2020, Mark launched impact brand, Eva's Wild concurrent to the release of his second award-winning feature documentary, The Wild - which examines the fate of Bristol Bay, Alaska through the lens of addiction and recovery, asking if it’s possible to save the things we love. In early 2021, Mark launched his podcast, Save What You Love, interviewing exceptional people devoting their lives in ways big and small to the protection of things they love.  Later that year, Titus earned a producer role on TV show, NCIS - working with actor, Mark Harmon to bring a dramatic depiction of the struggle to protect Bristol Bay, Alaska to network television - garnering 23 million viewers. In October, 2021, Mark received the Daniel Housberg Wilderness Image Award for excellence in Film from the Alaska Conservation Foundation.

In early 2022, Mr. Titus began filming The Turn, which will be the third and final film in The Breach Trilogy.  The Turn is scheduled to premiere in 2026. Mark has spoken at educational institutions like Cornell, Yale and the University of Oregon and on the TEDx stage in 2018. Through his storytelling, Mark Titus carries the message that humanity has an inherent need for wilderness and to fulfill that need we have a calling to protect wild places and wild things. You can find all of Mark’s current work here.

Producer

Jane Charles

Jane Charles has spent over 20 years as a Producer, Executive Producer and Production Executive. Her film and TV projects(SOLD, Fat Kid Rules the World, East of the Mountains, Rescued by Ruby), based on best-selling books, have been widely distributed and have won multiple awards in international film festivals and industry awards ceremonies.
Jane has served as president of several production companies, managing day to day operations, supervising numerous creative teams, and creating quality film and television. As producer and executive producer of many film and TV projects from concept through delivery, she has worked with some of the top networks, studios and distributors including Netflix, Twentieth Century Fox, ABC, Lifetime A+E, MTV, NBC, Universal, and Disney.
Jane is Executive Vice President, Development and Production, for Fezziwig Studios, a full-service entertainment company. Founded by multiple Emmy, Peabody and WGA-winning producer Dan Angel, Fezziwig Studios is committed to creating the highest quality movies and series that delight, inspire and develop community. The company focuses on the acquisition and adaptation of popular book franchises, with projects in active development and production with partners such as Netflix, Warner Bros Discovery and Sony Television. Fezziwig’s most recent film for Netflix, ‘Rescued by Ruby’ has received overwhelming critical and audience praise (100% on Rotten Tomatoes, #1 Dog Movie on Netflix). ‘Out of My Mind’, based on the best-selling novel, with Participant Media, premiered at The Sundance Film Festival 2024 and is now on Disney+.
While producing her feature film SOLD (starring Gillian Anderson and executive produced by Emma Thompson), Jane was inspired to co-found the non-profit organization StolenYouth, to help bring awareness to, and end, child trafficking. As an industry leader, she has been requested to speak at numerous anti-trafficking events, including the United Nations (UNODC), the Thomson Reuters Trust Conference, and the Nobel Peace Prize Forum.
Jane believes that, in life and in filmmaking, a thriving creative process is obtained through the cultivation of a safe and cooperative environment where team members are empowered and encouraged to contribute their ideas. This collaborative setting produces a space for all to rise together and create final works that represent multiple voices and perspectives. She aims to continue to create films and TV series that inspire and move audiences by shining a light on the human experience.
Jane lives on Whidbey Island WA with her husband, Marco, and their rescue dog, Sophie. She is passionate about animal rescue, hiking in nature and telling stories that are hopeful, healing and inspirational.

Story Editor/Co-Writer/Supervising Editor

Eric Frith

Working in both non-scripted and scripted, Eric Frith’s Emmy winning storytelling has appeared on Netflix, Amazon prime, Apple TV, Paramount +, been distributed by Miramax and heralded as, “an Oscar level piece of work” by film critics Ebert and Roeper. His films have screened at top festivals: Sundance, Toronto, SXSW, Tribeca, SIFF and literally hundreds of others around the world.

Eric has worked on projects featuring: Ludacris, Hill Harper, Jeremy Renner, Minnie Driver, Andy Garcia, Beau Bridges, Tom Skerritt, Mira Sorvino, Jaime Chung, Dominic Monaghan, Tom Sizemore and Elise Eberle to name a few.   

Eric is a seasoned Producer, Supervising Editor, and Story Editor known for keen storytelling instincts and ability to craft emotionally resonant narratives. He brings a collaborative and intuitive approach to every project. As a producer, he cultivates compelling stories with a strong artistic vision, guiding projects from development through completion with a focus on authenticity and impact artistry.

As a Supervising Editor and Story Editor, Frith excels at shaping raw footage into cohesive, immersive experiences. His editorial expertise allows him to refine complex narratives, enhance character arcs, and ensure emotional depth. Whether working on independent films, documentaries, or narrative features, he is dedicated to elevating each project with a balance of structure, nuance, and cinematic artistry.

Domi is currently based in Ireland, working as a freelance content creator and storyteller.
After getting a Master’s Degree in Intercultural Communication and Marketing back home in Paris, she has mostly worked in the fields of film production and tourism all across Europe and North America, with a particular interest in sustainability.


Through writing, photography, stop motion animation, acting and illustration, Domi’s creative practice takes many forms, but storytelling is at the heart of each and every one of them.
Stories have always been the best way for her to communicate her own experiences or give a voice to issues much bigger than herself.


Domi started working with Mark in 2018 in the framework of an internship to help promote and produce The Wild and launch Eva’s Wild, and they have worked together ever since.
